Our company in the field of field service technicians is looking for a dedicated employee (m/f/d) for a full-time position.

In this role, you will be part of our service team and play a key role in supporting our customers in ensuring reliable and trouble-free plant operation. You will handle central tasks within technical service, perform repairs and regular maintenance, and participate in the emergency service. You will work closely with the technical manager, sales, and our spare parts warehouse, and your expert work will significantly contribute to the rapid resolution of malfunctions and the reduction of downtime.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of complete packaging machines
• Repair, maintenance, fault diagnosis and service of all machines
• Machine acceptance tests at the factories in Italy
• Production support and technical assistance at the customer’s site
• Planning, execution and project handover of customer training at the facilities
• On-call duty alternating with service colleagues
• Timely creation of maintenance documents, service reports and documentation
• Regular reporting and coordination with the service manager

Requirements:

• Completed technical training or comparable practical experience in mechanical or plant engineering
• Willingness to travel within Germany and surrounding areas
• Professional experience in servicing machines and equipment, ideally in the field of packaging machines, is an advantage.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge is an advantage.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented work style on-site at the customer’s location
• Willingness to undertake regular field service assignments and to participate in on-call duty on a rotating basis
• Customer-oriented approach and confident communication
• Basic knowledge of English
• Driving licence class B required
