GT Production
WELL and carefully packed!

GT Production is a division of GUTOM that has taken over the production of cardboard trays according to the Paperseal System developed by G. Mondini S.p.a. and Graphic Packaging in Europe. GT Production solves an industry problem and at the same time offers all the advantages of the standard MAP process with plastic shells.

Up to 80% less plastic is used for the production of the packaging. Instead of a plastic shell, a shell made of cardboard is formed.

The task of GT Production is to provide competent advice to customers in the food industry and also in NON-FOOD, to share their experience and then to jointly design the appropriate cardboard tray. The GT Production department is able to organize test runs with products according to individually created samples. Fully sealed, packed under a protective atmosphere, the best-before test and also the handling of the new packaging can be tested.

Due to the use of various recyclable film materials, the packaging is suitable for cheese, fresh meat, fresh fish, snacks, frozen food, salad, fruits as well as for ready meals that are heated in the microwave or oven and also for NON-FOOD products. On the basis of a reference on the packaging, the consumer can see that the film and the cardboard can be easily separated and thus optimally recycled.

Since January 2021 we have been a proud partner of the umbrella brand "Schleswig-Holstein. The real north." Because we are at home in the real north. In our mechanical engineering department (project: ECKO-Process) we have started the development of an automated production of foiled cardboard boxes without laps for the food industry with an automatic separation of foil and cardboard when used by the consumer. Since mechanical engineering and the manufacture of sustainable packaging depend on reliability and the highest quality, we made a conscious decision in favor of the development and production site in Büdelsdorf. Development, mechanical engineering, production and technical support all come from a single source. And from one place: our location here in the real north. The connection to Schleswig-Holstein, the people and our business partners strengthens our philosophy of further expanding Schleswig-Holstein as a business location.
