GUTOM is a medium-sized family business in the far north, with our operational location situated directly on the NORD-OSTSEE CANAL since August 2022. Our company in the accounting department is seeking a committed employee (m/f/d) for a FULL-TIME position, working 35-40 hours per week.
In this role, you will be part of our accounting team and significantly support our finance department in ensuring smooth and efficient accounting processes. You will take on important tasks in financial accounting, contribute to the correct recording and processing of business transactions, and actively help ensure compliance with deadlines and regulations. In doing so, you will work closely with various internal departments and ensure clear and transparent financial reporting.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Registering, coding, and posting incoming invoices
- Vacation coverage, creating outgoing invoices
- Posting travel expense reports
- Posting credit card statements
- Monitoring open items and dunning
- Preparing monthly financial statements
- Creating a weekly liquidity plan
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing and submitting the summary report (ZM)
- Preparing and submitting the intra-trade statistics (INTRASTAT)
- Contact person for tax advisors, offices, and authorities
Requirements:
- Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on accounting.
- Good knowledge of DATEV
- Experience with ERP systems (Business Central) and MS Office.
- High level of initiative, responsibility, and organizational talent.
- Teamwork and customer-oriented work approach.
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
