The heart of the Paperseal cardboard tray is an innovation that enables hermetic sealing thanks to state-of-the-art technology and successful packaging design. The technological combination of optimized cardboard shell seal edge and Mondini sealing technology not only solves an industry problem, this system also offers all the advantages and durability of the standard MAP process with plastic trays.

The cardboard tray packaging is produced on a sealing machine. For this purpose, the flat cardboard cutting is first automatically formed in order to obtain the optimal sealing edge and the appropriate inner film sealing, which is securely attached to the cardboard. Due to the fit-cut inner film, the film waste in the process is completely minimized and ensures the safety of the packaging.

In addition to pack safety and durability, the new Paperseal cardboard tray offers further advantages, such as a high-quality appearance and exceptional communication options at the “point of sale” on the carton. And in addition to the comparatively low total costs of packaging, the Paperseal system scores with sustainability – the use of plastic compared to conventional plastic trays can be reduced by up to 70 percent. The carton was developed together with selected partners. Thanks to high-quality material, stability and moisture resistance have been increased to meet the demands of the market. After removing the product, the thin inner film can be easily removed from the carton and disposed of separately.
